Western Resource Recovery (WRR) and Total Waste Management (TWM) are Western Australia’s
leading collection and treatment companies for all animal wastes, septage wastes, grease and grease
trap wastes and vegetable oil wastes. They are both market leaders in the provisions of liquid and
hazardous industrial waste management services, plus provide the automotive industry a waste
management service.
WRR is the ‘collection’ arm of the business and is a quality provider of transport services to the
domestic and commercial sectors for the collection of the various wastes. TWM is the ‘treatment’
arm of the business which owns and operates two facilities in Western Australia.
TWM’s Welshpool facility is where wastes collected by WRR or other licensed carriers from the Perth
region are unloaded and stored according to their classification.
Both TWM and WRR emphasise, wherever it is economically and environmentally
viable to do so, the preference for RESOURCE RECOVERY, RE-USE and RECYCLING
over waste disposal.
