Valley Disposal Service - The acquisition of Valley Disposal Service (VDS) in March 2003 located at Branxton in the Hunter Valley
has given Transpacific Industries the capability to expand into the mining industry and expand onto the
services already provided by Valley Disposal Service. VDS started operations 13 years ago with one vacuum tanker servicing the Singleton and Muswellbrook
areas with septic and grease trap pump outs. As the fleet of tankers increased the service extended
into the coalmines providing services on wash bay sumps, oily water pits and separator units and
emergency call outs for local councils, coalmines and the Hunter Water.
The acquisition has seen the fleet grow to the following:
- 2 x Single axle vacuum tankers - 6,000 litre capacity
- 1x 6 Wheeler vacuum tanker - 12,000 litre capacity
- 2 x truck & Dog combinations - 22,000 litre capacity
- 2 x truck & Dog combinations - 25,000 litre capacity
- 4 x Semi trailers - 22,000 litre capacity
- 1 x Flat top truck fitted with tailgate lift & Hiab crane
A major win for Transpacific Industries Branxton was being awarded the 2-year contract for the supply
of tankers for emergency work for the Hunter Water Corporations area of operations. This has been the
first time that this contract has been awarded to one contractor.
With the increase in fleet size the work areas have expanded to cover the central coast, mid north
coast, Port Macquarie areas also the central west Dubbo regions and north west to meet the Tamworth
Branch.
Major Clients Include: Bulga Mine, South Bulga Mine, Beltana Mine, Macquarie Generation Liddell
Power Station and Hunter Vineyards.
